AIM Photonics

AIM Photonics is an institute within the Manufacturing USA network, established by the U.S. Department of Defense to advance new technology and capabilities in integrated photonics. They provide end-to-end silicon photonic manufacturing, supporting current and future technologies. Their services include Multi-Project Wafers (MPW), Process Design Kits (PDK), interposer wafers, and Test, Assembly, and Packaging (TAP) with on-ramp capabilities to accelerate prototyping to commercialization. AIM Photonics assists small and medium enterprises by providing accessible technology on-ramps and offers services across the entire silicon photonics development cycle: design, simulation, fabrication, packaging, validation, and a path to volume manufacturing. They also focus on education and workforce development in the photonics field.
