Elchim is an Italian brand with over 70 years of experience in designing and manufacturing professional electrical beauty tools. Elchim hair dryers, straighteners, and diffusers are proudly made in Milan, Italy, combining European build quality, ergonomic design, and the latest global technology. Elchim uses powerful AC motors as well as the new generation of BLDC (brushless) motors in its products to perfectly meet the needs of both home users and professionals. This brand is the choice of many hairdressers, salon owners, and professional beauty centers worldwide, as it not only delivers high performance but also keeps hair healthy and shiny. Elchim was founded in 1945 by brothers Riccardo Chiminello (creative and technological mind) and Egle Chiminello (commercial and marketing soul). They opened their first offices in Via Larga, Milan, after emigrating from Vicenza. Elchim initially focused on household appliances before moving into the professional field. Riccardo collaborated with Milan hairdressing industry representatives, leading to the creation of the first 'professional' hairdryer. The company has been manufacturing professional hairdressing tools in Italy for 80 years, conquering generations of hairdressers in many countries.
