Jan and Jul makes durable outdoor gear for rain, sun, and everything in between. Designed and tested by parents in the Pacific Northwest, our products are ethically made, built to last, and ready for adventure – Rain or Shine! Our story at Jan & Jul is rooted in a passion for the outdoors. We believe that time spent in nature nurtures strong, resourceful, and resilient kids—creating memories that last a lifetime and inspiring our future protectors of the environment. Jan & Jul is where the ingenuity of engineering meets the lived experiences of motherhood. We approach designing a new product like an an engineering project. We want to get every little detail right. Jan & Jul proudly supports women in China with fair wages and a positive work environment. Our production team operates in Florence’s hometown of Nanjing, China, under the management of Florence’s sister, Mei. At Jan & Jul, giving back locally and worldwide is always a priority. Every holiday season, we run our “Mittens for a Cause” campaign to raise funds for the World Food Programme. Since 2018, we have donated a total of 72,730 meals to school-aged children in need. We maintain deep connections with our local communities and stand ready to help. In 2021 alone, we donated over $20,000 to the Canadian Red Cross as our province battled severe fires and floods.
