M-Design Egypt

Founded in 2007 by British/Egyptian Industrial Designer Mark Marzouk, M-Design was born from a vision to deliver high-quality, functional, and design houseware products at affordable prices. Our goal was to prioritised the use of the highest-quality, food-grade materials, ensuring that every product meets our commitment to excellence. Over the years, M-Design has grown significantly, now proudly employing over 60 dedicated team members who share our passion for innovation and design. At M-Design, we primarily focus on creating products from durable plastic materials, consciously avoiding single-use or disposable items. Our designs are crafted to last, promoting functionality, reusability, and vibrant colors. We believe that the longer a product lasts, the lower its environmental impact. We are continually researching and exploring new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and extend the life of our products. Our state-of-the-art factory operates with modern, efficient machines, minimizing electricity consumption. We also prioritize sustainability by recycling waste materials from our food-contact production into non-food-contact products, such as clothes hangers and pegs, reducing our overall material consumption. In line with our commitment to sustainability, M-Design recently relocated to a new, modern facility filled with skylights that significantly reduce our reliance on artificial lighting. As Egypt emerges as a significant producer of renewable energy, we aim to power our entire operations with 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
