Meru Central Dairy Co-operative Union Ltd is Kenya's biggest dairy co-operative and a Milk Processor of Mount Kenya Milk Products. It came to being in 1967 as an initiative of three Co-operative Societies with the objective of helping farmers market their milk produce. Since its formation in 1967, Meru Dairy has steadily expanded its reach and capacity. Through investment in modern technology, training programs for farmers, and a commitment to quality, we have transformed from a small-scale operation into a nationally recognized brand. Today, Meru Dairy proudly handles an intake of over 600,000 litres of milk every single day. This remarkable growth reflects not only the dedication of our farmers but also the trust our customers place in us. Meru Dairy is the biggest dairy cooperative in Kenya, commanding an impressive 31% share of the national dairy market and processing over 600,000 litres of milk every single day.
