Cofftea, established in 1984 by Mr. Mohamed Salih Idris, evolved from a merchant trading business in Sudan into a major distributor and packer of tea and coffee. The company has expanded its business scope to include other commodities such as sugar and oil. Cofftea operates two modern, ISO certified factories in Kenya and Sudan for manufacturing and packing Tea and Coffee, equipped with the latest machinery. They are committed to sustainably sourcing raw materials and promoting sustainability practices, with 90% of their tea plantations being ISO 22000:2005 certified and fair trade tea being Rain Forest Alliance certified.
