NIIMBL (The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals)

NIIMBL (The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals) is an institute focused on driving U.S. leadership in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. It works to enable more efficient and flexible manufacturing capabilities for existing and emerging biopharmaceutical products, develop a world-leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing workforce, and de-risk the adoption and implementation of new technologies. NIIMBL achieves its mission through an RFx process to advance technical and workforce development projects, collaborating with stakeholders from across the biopharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem including companies, academic institutions, and nonprofits. Their efforts aim to ensure a secure, integrated domestic supply chain, accelerate therapies to patients, strengthen biodefense, and enhance U.S. competitiveness in the global manufacturing industry.
